If your dog is eating poop, parasites or worms are a possible culprit. Parasites consume many of the critical nutrients your dog needs to thrive. When this happens, they may try to re-ingest the food (even in its waste form) to get additional nutrients. Your vet can test for worms and explore other potential reasons your dog may be eating their waste.
