You may not be able to control when your dog has to go, but you can guide them on where to go (or not). Pet waste can harm the environment, but there are easy ways to prevent it from being washed into drainage systems or lakes, streams and rivers. If you cannot stop your dog from pooping near water, be sure to pick up after them quickly.
